In late February, just weeks before Covid began to shut down the nation, we held our largest film screening before 1000 attendees at Atlanta’s Cascade United Methodist Church, followed by a panel discussion with former Surgeon General, Dr. David Satcher, Dr. Monica Parker, MD, Dr. James Lah, MD and Dr. Patrick Griffith, MD.
The event was sponsored by Emory University Goizueta Alzheimer's Disease Research Center and a consortium of the Divine 9, including the Links Inc., Morehouse Medical School, National Sororities and Fraternities. There were memory screenings and information available.
