Johnathan Jackson PhD, Executive Director of the Community Access, Recruitment, and Engagement (CARE) Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.

Dr. Jackson is a renowned cognitive neuroscientist who investigates the behavioral, genetic, neurological, physiological and cognitive changes of normal aging as well as in individuals with Alzheimer’s disease.

His research focuses on midlife and late-life health disparities in clinical settings that affect Black populations and The CARE center investigates the impact of diversity and inclusion on the quality of research clinical trial participants. His approach is to leverage deep community entrenchment to build trust and overcome barriers to participation.
